trendy thanksgiving outfits
I love the smell of spices and herbs of a Thanksgiving feast wafting through the air. Thanksgiving is so special, not only because of the amazing food, but because it gives us a time every year to reflect and realize how truly blessed we are. Should we be grateful for everything we have, every single day? Absolutely. But I think that we as humans, easily take life for granted. Having a day where you're surrounded by loved ones, enjoying quality time and an amazing meal, really gives you the perspective of how lucky we truly are.
And with such an important day, comes the styling of some perfectly curated fall outfits. I've put together some cute looks for the big turkey day to give you some inspiration to style your own!
1. sweater vest with button down dress
Keeping it classy and sophisticated with this look. The sweater vest trend is all over and I found that this is on of my favorite ways to style it. The button down dress is extremely versatile and can be worn a ton of different ways, but I love this pairing the most! The sweater cinches your waist at just the right place, while still leaving room for all the food you'll be ingesting. Add in some snake skin knee-high boots and you have yourself a super trendy Thanksgiving look.
2. all black everything
You can never go wrong with an all black outfit, it's a staple classic. I have paired a mock neck sweater and a leather mini skirt together. Add in some black, printed tights and booties for a sleek, chic holiday look. The best part about black is that it's slimming, so not matter how much turkey or pumpkin pie you stuff your face with, you'll still look put together without even trying.
3. polo cardigan and high-waisted denim
The cardigan shirt trend is another one of my favorites. It really spices up this more casual Thanksgiving day outfit. A polo collared cardigan dresses up any outfit, instantly. Whether you're attending a huge family gathering or just having a few loved ones over for a quiet meal, this outfit will keep you looking casual and cute for the festivities.
4. monochromatic chic
Seriously you can never go wrong with monochrome, it keeps any outfit looking effortlessly classy. Chocolate brown is super in this season, so I've taken a leather trench coat, sweater dress and booties that are all in that same color spectrum. Add in some cute frilly socks and a plaid bag for a preppy/girly edge. You'll feel free to stuff yourself with all the Thanksgiving grub without being concerned about uncomfortable tight clothing.
5. leather overalls and cropped sweater
Leather is everywhere this autumn season, and I thought incorporating this overall dress was the perfect look for the thanksgiving holiday. It's edgy, but I soften the look with the cream cropped sweater. Add in the snake print knee-high boots and you have yourself a stylish look for the big feast.
I hope this helps you find some inspiration for Thanksgiving dinner. I love the idea of keeping it fashionable since we don't have a lot to dress up for these days (aka because of Covid). So take your outfit to the next level and feel chic, sexy, and sophisticated with these inspired pieces. Happy styling pretties🖤
