outfit ideas for the 4th of july

Get ready for BBQ's, pool days, jello shots, and sparklers. Even though most of us are still in quarantine, doesn't mean that you can't look cute in the red, white, and blue. It's time to celebrate this amazing country! Although things can look bleak, it's been a hard year for everyone, and I think that we should take the weekend and focus on spending time with loved ones, enjoy life, and celebrate our freedom.

Here are a few outfits I've styled to give you some inspiration for the weekend. I'm not traditional when it comes to clothes on the 4th, I like to keep my outfits cute and sophisticated, not tacky and cliche. Sooooo... let's get started ❤️💙🇺🇸

I've styled a couple of two piece sets that I think are perfect for the fourth. I love sets because they make putting an outfit together extremely simple, plus they are flawlessly cute!

Let's start with the red set. I love bringing in the 90's vibes to any look. With this set, you have the bold, red color with the white stitching and buttons, so I've styled this with ALL of the white accessories. A cute/chic look for those who want to feel vibrant and trendy.

The second set gives me "weekend on the Greek Islands" vibes. I love a good vacation look and I love it even more when it doubles for the American celebration of independence😉. I paired this with all the gold accessories and a raffia backpack. To finish the look I would add white platform espadrilles or white sneakers.

Next I styled this blue bodysuit with white jeans. This bodysuit is such a beautiful light, muted blue color that looks perfect with white bottoms. I love to pair this with gold accessories and cognac sandals. A super chic, casual outfit for a fun BBQ look.

This white puff sleeve top is probably the love of my life right now. Pairing this with destroyed denim and some nude strap heels as well as ALL the gold accessories. I would wear this to a nice dinner, pre-firework show.

I love a chic pool/beach day look and this bold, red two-piece swimsuit is perfect for just that. All you need is to pair this with some high waisted shorts (I chose a true blue denim) and a fun white crossbody to get all of the national colors in. ALSO, do not forget the sunscreen people, it's so important to keep your skin youthful and protect it against the sun's harsh UV rays.

And last but not least, I have a cute pair of striped high waisted shorts with a white strapless bodysuit. I love this because it's super comfortable, causal, and chic. This look is perfectly paired with some round sunnies and some gold detailing. I love this for a walk on the boardwalk or a daytime BBQ.

I hope that these looks give you some inspiration for the 4th of July celebration! I can't wait to see what you come up with. Tag me in your cute looks and please comment below your favorite outfit. Have an amazing Independence Day and stay safe❤️🇺🇸💙
